Key Responsibilities

Clinical Evaluation & Diagnosis:
Conduct thorough neurological assessments and interpret neuroimaging studies (CT, MRI, angiography) to diagnose conditions of the brain, spine, and peripheral nerves. -
Surgical Management:
Perform a wide range of neurosurgical procedures including:-
Brain tumor excision

Aneurysm clipping and vascular surgery

Spinal decompression and stabilization

Head injury and trauma management

Functional and minimally invasive neurosurgery

Emergency and Critical Care:
Provide 24 × 7 neurosurgical emergency support, including management of traumatic brain injuries, intracranial hemorrhages, and spinal trauma. -
Preoperative and Postoperative Care:
Develop individualized surgical plans, ensure safe anesthesia coordination, and oversee patient recovery and rehabilitation. -
Collaboration and Leadership:
Work closely with departments such as Neurology, Orthopedics, Critical Care, and Radiology to ensure integrated, multidisciplinary patient care. -
Teaching and Research:
Mentor junior doctors, residents, and medical students. Participate in clinical research, academic activities, and advancements in neurosurgical techniques. -
Quality and Safety:
Adhere to surgical safety protocols, infection control standards, and continuous quality improvement measures.
